Dr. Eidt joined SOCO in September, having completed a 17 year career as a surgeon in the US Army.
While serving in the Army, Dr. Eidt served at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC, Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart Georgia and most recently at DeWitt Army Health System in Fort Belvoir Virginia. His overseas assignments include postings to Afghanistan, Korea and Japan.

Dr. Eidt has been honored by the US Army with the Bronze Star for service as a trauma surgeon at the 249th General Hospital in Afghanistan, as well as the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Korean Defense Service Medal.
Dr. Eidt earned his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences with additional coursework at the University of California at Irvine.
Dr. Eidt is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. |
